Tri State Chapter 1st Vice President, Program Planning/Committees

1. The Program Committee will undertake the planning and implementation of all chapter programs.

2. The Program Committee will consist of a chairperson and members. The Chairperson will be the 1st Vice President of the Chapter in keeping with the constitutional provisions of the Association. The members of the Committee will be appointed by the 1st. Vice President.

3. The Program Committee shall schedule an initial meeting to agree on a method for implementation of the event. Their proposal for implementation of the event should then be presented to the general body at the next business meeting for approval. The proposal should contain the following information:

a) Location for the Event

b) Price for Location where applicable

c) Outline of the Program

d) Budget for the Program

4. The Program Committee shall be responsible to develop a flyer for the event. The Flyer should be distributed to the membership.

5. The Program Committee shall establish sub-committees as necessary for each chapter program.

6. The 1st Vice President and at least one officer shall be standing members on each of these sub-committees.

7. A Calendar of Events will be prepared by the Program Committee, before the beginning of the year to give sub-committees the opportunity to form and plan for these projects ahead of the scheduled time.
